Malcolm MacDonald, Trusty Mates (March theme: Walking Buddies)

On every hike I always had my trusty mates with me. Buddies through thick and thin, cold, wet, dust, snow and night. I could always rely on them to help me through no matter how tough our hike. Nearing the end of our Overland Track hike, I wanted to capture a shot of them in the environment they are happiest - out in the bush. Sadly, nothing lasts forever, and after joining me for many more hike adventures there came a time we had to say goodbye. I miss my old walking buddies.
