Did you know Australia's ten highest mainland peaks are all within Kosciuszko NP, NSW? And one walking tour operator can lead you to them over a four-day hiking experience. Snowy Mountains-based guide (and professional photographer) Mike Edmonsdon has three trips coming up:
March 29-April 1 (Camping 3 places left)
April 19-22 (Easter Camping 3 places left)
April 25-28 Anzac Weekend either camping or lodge based.

The top ten peaks in Australia are located in the southern end of the Kosciuszko NP. Most can be accessed from Thredbo Village with the remaining peaks from nearby Charlotte Pass. The top ten peaks are:

Mt Kosciuszko, 2228m
Mt Townsend, 2209m
Mt Twynam, 2195 m
Rams Head, 2190m
Etheridge Ridge Peak, 2180m
Rams Head North, 2177m
Alice Rawson, 2160m
Abbot Peak, 2159m
Abbot Peak East, 2145m
Carruthers Peak, 2145m

The camping option is popular for those wishing to camp close to the peaks. Walk to the peaks with light day packs and watch the sun set and rise from camp. The program to complete all ten summits is over four days, walking approximately 70km. The four-day program allows time to enjoy the wonderful alpine scenery, without feeling you need to rush off to the next summit.
