The Great Walks June-July issue is back from the printers and on its way to subscribers and newsagents!

The theme for the issue is 'Destination Australia' where we show you some of the best 'low risk, high adventure' hiking destinations available in the country.

We all know we won't be heading overseas for a holiday for quite some time but fortunately there's plenty to do and see on foot right here! And the timing couldn't be better with many states lifting their COVID travel restrictions for recreational trips.

Walks in the June-July issue include Wilsons Prom, Bluff Knoll, Mount Feathertop, the Dandenongs, Barron Gorge National Park and the gorgeous Blue Mountains.

We also showcase the best hiking gear for an outback adventure and we go on a search and rescue when a buskwalker becomes injured on the Overland Track.
