Adventure travel company World Expeditions has launched a new division - Great Canadian Trails - to present its new range of Canadian active holidays specifically for travellers seeking to explore Canada’s vast wilderness.

Based out of World Expeditions’ Ottawa office, Great Canadian Trails offers a selection of both guided and supported self-guided hiking and cycling adventures that include accommodation, luggage transfers, bike rentals, as well as comprehensive maps and route notes.

One highlight is the West Coast Trail, considered one of the world’s top 10 hikes and is Canada’s most well-known trail.

The trip features hiking through Vancouver Island’s famous Old Growth Forests, an abundance of wildlife including whales, sea lions, eagles, and bears, camping, swimming & trekking along isolated beaches, numerous suspension bridges, ladders, and cable car crossings.
