Qantas and Jetstar are have increased flights between Sydney and Darwin, coinciding with the easing of restrictions for NSW travellers visiting the Northern Territory.

NSW was revoked as a hot spot last Friday, 9 October, meaning people arriving in the Northern Territory from Greater Sydney will no longer have to undertake mandatory supervised quarantine.

Qantas has resumed daily flights between Sydney and Darwin from 9 October and Jetstar is now operating up to four flights per week on the route. There are currently three Qantas return flights per week between Sydney and Alice Springs.

The news comes just in time for Australian travellers to take advantage of The Never Before NT Summer Sale offering travellers discounts of up to $1000 off already reduced prices for Northern Territory summer packages, available from 1 October – 31 March 2021.

The Northern Territory also has a variety of unique and unforgettable events in the coming months – from the Darwin International Laksa Festival to the inaugural Mango Madness Festival, and Australia’s richest fishing competition, Million Dollar Fish.

So as they say, you'll Never Never know, if you Never Never go!
