The Telluride Mountainfilm festival touring Australia and NZ between February and April is proving popular.
This documentary film festival is one of America’s most loved and longest-running film festivals, showcasing non-fiction stories about climbing, cultural, environmental, political and social justice issues.
Great Walks attended the premier of the festival at Sydney's OpenAir Cinema in front of 2000 people. We gave away 300 copies of the mag and a few annual subscriptions for good measure.
After the show the feedback we received was that short films were exhilarating, emotive and inspiring. Can't do better than that!
There are still plenty of opportunities to catch Telluride Mountainfilm and as an added bonus Great Walks readers have been offered a discount on tickets.
$20 tickets are available for the showing at the Randwick Ritz (Mar 1 - discount code: TWENTY, click here for tickets ) and the Cremorne Cinema (Mar 2 - no code needed, click here for tickets) both in Sydney.
Great Walks will be at the Ritz so come and say hi to the editor.
You can also get 10% off all other Australia showings so click here for dates and times and enter the discount code GREATWALKS (one word, all uppercase) to get your discount.
