The Friends of Lane Cove National Park are one of the largest and most active volunteer Friends groups in NSW. Their work is diverse. They have over 20 active bushcare groups, and also lead heritage projects and educational activities.
Jenkins Kitchen is believed to be the oldest European structure in the Ku-ring-gai area. The 1850s building is made from locally quarried stone. It's now been restored by the Friends of Lane Cove and NSW National Parks.
