Brody Gamble, Cascades (PLACES WILDERNESS 2022)

Looking upon Russell Falls in Tasmania, I found eye drawn to the upper cascades. Some of the only light of the day began to shine down upon the flowing water, rocks and vegetation. I observed new life, some saplings, and pondered whether they would grow strong enough in time to withstand the falls' force after the coming rain.
