Janet Scott, Cliffs on Fire (PLACES WILDERNESS 2022)

Autumn is a special time in Cradle Mountain, it is a time when the Tasmania only deciduous beech turns from lush green to hues of yellow, to orange and red. It commonly known as Fagus from it scientific name Nothofagus gunnii. Another term is Tanglefoot because of its gnarly root system. It looks like winter on this day but it is a cold and wet winter day on the Dove Lake Circuit.
