Miranda Fittock, First Glimpse (PEOPLE WILDERNESS 2024)

Our first glimpse of the imposing and impressive peak of Frenchmans Cap after hours of navigating through the dense forests. Though beautiful, the forest trail was slow and tedious, with frequent ducking under branches and slipping on roots. It was a relief to know we would soon enter the alpine.
