Andrew Jackson, Heemskirk Coast, Western Tasmania (PLACES WILDERNESS)
The wild west of Tasmania is not just rugged mountains, dark forests and raging rivers. The coastline is the first defence against the pounding Southern Ocean - here seen at the granite rock of the remote Heemskirk Coast where as far as the eye can see are constant, random eruptions of salt spray to soak walkers and cameras.
