Bradley Averill, Mossy Giants (PLACES WILDERNESS)

On a cool afternoon during the Lake Waikaremoana Track in the region of Te Urewera, in the North Island. Along its highest ridge, you find yourself in a forest covered in moss. And once you get a moment out of the fog, you hear every branch dripping with water as if the moss itself, creates the rain.
