Josh Tagi, Sunburst (PLACES WILDERNESS 2022)

Burning off of scrub and bushland is common amongst the Dandenong Ranges, in South-Eastern Victoria in order to reduce the likelihood and potential for bushfires prior the coming Summer and bushfire season. This shot was taken during a hike to the top of Mt Dandenong and the rising sun backlighting the smoke atmosphere made for some truly ethereal conditions.
