Zak Draco, The Amazing Solo Women of the Larapinta Trail (PEOPLE WILDERNESS 2024)

Solo women hikers make up more than 70% of all E2E ( end to end) solo hikers on the Larapinta Trail, some 400+ each year and growing. They are some of the most impressive, exceptional and inspiring people I have ever met in my 20 years on the Larapinta Trail. I am very privileged and proud to be able to capture some of their most epic moments on the Larapinta Trail - one of the world's best long-distance trails - and briefly be part of one of the most life-changing and memorable experiences they will ever have.
