One of NZ's toughest Great Walks gets a new safety video
The Paparoa Track is growing in popularity
A new safety video has been launched to help trampers and cyclists tackle one of the country’s more challenging Great Walks.
Of course the message is the same for any multi-day walk.
The shared-use Paparoa Track winds through some of the West Coast’s most stunning and diverse landscapes, but is a Grade 4: Advanced track and can get particularly tricky in bad weather.
Now the NZ Mountain Safety Council (MSC) has produced a video in collaboration with Ngāti Waewae and the Department of Conservation (DOC).
