Fully vaccinated New South Wales and Victorian reidents now allowed in South Australia.

Premier Steven Marshall said residents who have received both COVID-19 vaccine doses and have come from a local government area with a vaccination rate above 80 percent are welcomed into the state.

"We're not just opening the flood gates, we are making sure that those people who come into South Australia are double vaccinated and come from an LGA which has a vaccination rate above 80 per cent," Mr Marshall said.

"The good news is all of Victoria is above 80 per cent and all of NSW apart from one LGA is also above that 80 per cent vaccination rate."

Mr Marshall said only the Byron Bay local government area remains below the 80 per cent mark but they are not far off achieving this target.

"As of next Tuesday, we are good to go, those borders will come up and people will be able to come into South Australia," he said.
